When you need to deal often with backports is always necessary to see commit shas, but also to know what has into patch from each commit sha found. Doing this in git is doable, but sometimes painful.
What about to have a tool, simple one, as WebJynx ? Imagine you can now just search for a file into your git project. This tool list all commit log for that file. In a tooltip or alt image you can see a short history of this patch and in the right side you can see patch itself.
Yeah. That is what WebJynx do!
It was code in Python+Django. Using also some Jquery and other JS tools.
